Problem / Challenge

Many women face barriers to advancement in their careers — from self-doubt and lack of access to mentorship, to systemic challenges that limit visibility and leadership opportunities. Connecting Stories recognised a need to create a practical, empowering platform that helps women identify their strengths, communicate their impact, and lead with authenticity and confidence.

What We Did

The Career Bootcamp for Women: Power Moves, Leadership and Legacy was an immersive, in-person event designed to equip women with actionable tools for leadership growth and career progression. Through panel discussions, skill-building workshops, and networking opportunities, participants engaged with hiring managers, industry leaders, and professionals committed to driving inclusion in the workplace.

With 59 registered attendees, the Bootcamp inspired women to take bold, strategic career action. Participants explored how to own their professional narratives, express their ambitions with clarity, and create meaningful impact in their workplaces.

The most valuable insight I gained from today was to own my orb and express what I want in the workplace — to focus every conversation around the impact I bring and how I deliver it with integrity.

Power moves begin with self-awareness and courage. This Bootcamp reminded us that when women recognise their value and speak their truth, they not only rise — they bring others up with them. We’re proud to be part of a movement redefining leadership for women everywhere.
