From a spark of connection to a movement for change
In 2018, Connecting Stories was born from a simple, powerful idea: what if women, especially those from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds had a safe space to share their stories, support one another, and grow together? What began as an intimate gathering of women seeking purpose and connection soon blossomed into a thriving, impact-driven community.
Founded in the UK by a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, Connecting Stories set out to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity. We recognized that too many women, particularly Black women and girls, as well as those from other ethnic minority backgrounds, felt isolated, stuck, or unseen in their journeys toward financial freedom, leadership, and personal growth. We wanted to change that.

Today, Connecting Stories is more than an organisation.
