From Ideas to Action: Key Lessons From Flagship EmpowerHer Session for Women in the UK
At Connecting Stories, we believe that empowering women starts with creating spaces where confidence can grow, questions can be asked openly, and practical knowledge can be shared without judgement.
That belief came to life once again during our latest EmpowerHer session, a powerful conversation centred around entrepreneurship, confidence-building, execution, and what it truly means to take action before feeling completely ready.
The session brought together women from different backgrounds, experiences, and stages of their journeys for an honest and insightful discussion about building sustainable businesses, overcoming self-doubt, and embracing growth.
A Conversation Rooted in Action, Not Perfection
One of the strongest themes throughout the session was the reminder that many women delay starting because they feel they need to have everything perfectly figured out first.
But growth rarely begins with certainty.
Participants were encouraged to shift their mindset from perfection to progress, understanding that confidence is often built through action, not before it.
One of the most impactful moments from the session was the reminder:
“Give yourself permission to build before you are fully ready.”
